We are seeking a full-time Team Leader to join our Disability Services Team in the South. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in driving participant-focused support, fostering professional development, and achieving meaningful outcomes for participants and stakeholders alike.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will lead by example, ensuring that the support provided aligns with participant goals and meets CareForce’s high standards of safety, timeliness, and quality. You will work collaboratively within a dedicated and supportive team, striving to make a genuine difference in the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Leadership & Coordination:
Provide leadership to office personnel and ensure activities align with participant goals.
Manage and guide the team, setting clear goals and deadlines while fostering a positive and empathetic environment.
Motivate, coach, mentor, and train team members for personal and professional growth.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure documentation and workplace materials comply with legal requirements and best practices.
Report on team performance and operational updates to management, including participant feedback.
Identify and report any WHS issues in participants’ homes.
Participant-Centered Focus:
Prioritize participant goals and maintain a high standard of person-centered care.
Team & Organizational Goals:
Work collaboratively towards achieving both organizational and participant-driven goals.
Skills and Experience
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma/Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the disability sector.
- Australian Driver’s License.
- National Police Check.
- Working with Vulnerable People Card (NDIS Endorsed).
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
- First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- Assisting Clients with Medication and Manual Handling Certification.
